Félix Chénier completed in 2012 his PhD in engineering in Health technologies at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal.
From 2012 to 2014, he was a research engineer at the Imaging and Orthopaedic Research Lab at the CHUM Research Centre.
From 2014 to 2015, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship in rehabilitation science at the University of Montreal.
Since 2015, he is professor at the Dept. of Physical activity science at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), researcher at the Pathokinesiology Laboratory of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal (CRIR), member of the Research Group in Adapted Physical Activity (GRAPA) and founding member of the Research Lab on Human Performance (PH) at UQAM.
His research interests include wheelchair propulsion biomechanics and new technologies in biomechanical analysis.
