In a collaborative project with INÉDI | CCTT en design industriel and my lab, we designed unique, rigid wheelchair racing gloves especially tailored for an athlete with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. The goal of this project was to make the athlete more autonomous and increase his performance. We used motion capture combined to the instrumented racing wheel developed in our lab to better understand the technique he adopted and his preferences regarding different variants of these rigid gloves.
